Wilson Way ADA Ramps - City of Stockton Department of Public Works

The Wilson Way ADA Ramp Improvement Project consisted of constructing eight ADA ramps in an older part of Stockton at two locations along Wilson Way.  The north improvements were located at the intersection of Wilson Way and E Scotts Avenue and the south improvements were located at the intersection of Wilson Way and Milton Street.  Each ramp required a different and unique design due to existing site conditions, such as structures, utilities, and large grade elevation differences.  As the consultant for the project, Kjeldsen, Sinnock & Neudeck, Inc.’s (KSN) responsibilities included managing the design effort, client coordination, surveys and mapping, utility coordination, the design and documentation of grading, drainage, concrete hardscape, striping, and construction support.  KSN performed and coordinated all design tasks required for the documentation of the civil improvements including but not limited to project control and geometrics, signage, and striping.  KSN also provided construction support services including Requests For Information (RFI) review and responses.
